Attention all doggie owners & canine lovers!

Come check out the HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Costume Contest at Ventura Harbor Village on Saturday, October 26th at noon! Space is limited to the first friendly 75 dogs and registration is now full. However, doggies & their owners are still encouraged to show up and attend as spectators regardless – there are always a variety of pups in the audience on this fun-filled day!

Every single registered participant gets a small goodie bag of pup prizes. Plus, five lucky dogs will take home grand prizes if they win their category! There will be a professional photographer onsite! Please see details below:

SIGN UP

Pre-registration is now full. Doggies and their owners are still encouraged to dress up and head down to the Harbor as spectators. A limited number of day-of sign ups will open up on a first come first serve basis starting at 11:30am at the check-in booth on the main lawn.

IMPORTANT TIMES:

11:30pm: Registered participants check in starting at 11:30am on the MAIN LAWN in Ventura Harbor Village to receive your competition number.

12:00pm: Contest starts at noon! Dogs will be called up by contest number ranges. Listen for your number!

1:45pm (approximate): After judging has wrapped up and top dogs get their prizes – please join us with your costumed pups for a short walk from the lawn, along the waterfront promenade promenade, and into the Village (near Hats Unlimited)! There will be a large skeleton photo op, a station to collect your pup-cream certificate, and a professional pumpkin carver.

PARTICIPATION PRIZES:

All registered dogs get goodies! Every single registered pup participant gets:
– Treat bag from Ventura Pet Barn
– Pup-cream (special dog dessert) courtesy of Coastal Cone
– Scooby snacks (for human paw-rents)
