Parade of Lights & Fireworks 2022!
The 2022 theme pays homage to all things outer space – Out of This World!
We are looking forward to a very colorful boat parade and Harbor Village festivities! Soak up some holiday cheer with shimmering lights, whirling kid carnival rides, boutique gift shopping, delicious dining, and more. We’ll SEA you there!


Friday, December 16 & Saturday, December 17
4:00pm & beyond – Kids Rides & Carnival Games on the Ventura Harbor Village lawn (NOTE - carnival starts earlier at 2pm on Saturday)
5:30pm - Faux Snowfall, LED Performers Twinkle and Shine along the Harbor Village Promenade
6:30pm – Boat Parade Begins (two laps throughout Ventura Harbor)
8:00pm – Fireworks* (Look Northwest for best viewing) *display is weather pending

Drop off Locations: Portside Ventura Promenade (for viewing the parade) and Safe Harbor Ventura Isle Marina (which is a 5-8 minute walk along the promenade to Ventura Harbor Village)
Shuttle Times: 4:00pm – 10:00 pm (last pick up is 9:45 pm)

Visit Ventura Harbor Village for pre & post festivities, including dining, shopping, and fun carnival rides on the lawn.
Don’t wait! Make your reservations now for a your favorite restaurant or Parade of Lights harbor cruise.
Parking lots will fill up quick - don't forget there is additional lots around the harbor and a shuttle. See parking section for details.
Following the Fireworks, stick around for 20-30 minutes and enjoy food, dessert, & cocktails to allow for less cars and traffic exiting Ventura Harbor.
View by Land or Water!



Viewing by Land is Free!
Find a good viewing spot on land along the parade route to enjoy the lights. Ventura Harbor has a large walking promenade in which the parade can be viewed or buy a ticket to watch from the water. Entertainment, dining, treats, and parade announcers will be located in Ventura Harbor Village. The fireworks display is to the Northwest of the Harbor Village each night.

Island Packers
Parade of Lights Cruises are open to the public. Boat stages to watch the parade, cruise to view holiday lights in the marina, and ends with fireworks (weather permitting). Return by 8:30pm.
Departures: Friday, Dec. 16 at 5:45pm (sold out), 6:00pm (sold out), or 6:15pm (sold out) / Saturday, Dec. 17 at 5:45pm (sold out), 6:00pm (sold out), or 6:15pm (sold out).
Cost: $38 for adults, $35 for seniors and $28 for children under 12.

Ventura Sportfishing
Holiday Harbor Cruises are open to the public on two boats, Island Spirit and Californian.
Departures: Friday, Dec. 16 at 5:30pm and Saturday, Dec. 17 at 5:30pm, boats leave at 6:30pm.
