Ventura Harbor Boatyard Open for Business

On Wednesday July 29, 2015 Ventura Harbor Boatyard’s 35-Ton Travelift pier and docks were struck by a 70’ seiner. The seiner apparently suffered loss of propulsion control while maneuvering in the Harbor. Thankfully, no one was injured in the accident. While repairs are underway, The Ventura Harbor Boatyard is in full operation with extended hours daily. The 35-ton Travelift will be used to transport smaller vessels from the 150-Travellift to a designated work site while the 35-ton pier undergoes repair and re-certification.
