Santa Clarita Beach Bus Returns to Ventura Harbor for Summer 2026

Ventura Harbor Village is excited to once again welcome Santa Clarita Beach Bus riders to the coast for another summer of beach days, waterfront dining, seaside shopping, and relaxing ocean breezes.
Following strong community feedback, the City of Santa Clarita’s Beach Bus service will return to Ventura Harbor for the full 2026 summer season, making it easy to escape to the coast without the stress of traffic or parking.
Whether you’re planning a family beach day, a relaxing waterfront lunch, or a full afternoon exploring the harbor, Ventura Harbor offers a laid-back coastal experience just steps from the sand.
Easy Access to Harbor Cove Beach & Ventura Harbor Village
Beach Bus riders will arrive near Harbor Cove Beach, conveniently located across the road from Ventura Harbor Village and the Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center.
Guests can easily walk between the beach, harbor promenade, restaurants, sweet shops, boutiques, boat rentals, and waterfront attractions using the nearby pedestrian pathways connecting the area.
Spend the day:

- Enjoying fresh seafood and waterfront dining
- Shopping local seaside boutiques
- Exploring the Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center

2026 Beach Bus Service Dates
The Beach Bus will operate every Saturday and Sunday from May 23, 2026 through September 6, 2026.
Departure Locations & Schedule
Via Princessa Metrolink Station
- Depart: 8:22am
- Arrive at Ventura Harbor: 10am
- Depart Ventura Harbor: 4:30pm
- Return: 5:53pm
McBean Regional Transit Center
- Depart: 8:40am
- Arrive at Ventura Harbor: 10am
- Depart Ventura Harbor: 4:30pm
- Return: 5:35pm
Riders return to the same location where they were dropped off.
Beach Bus Fares
- $3.50 each way for adults & children
- $1.75 each way for seniors & persons with disabilities
Beach Bus passes can be purchased through the Token Transit mobile app.
Accepted payment methods include:
- Exact cash fare
- TAP stored value
- Token Transit mobile passes
Monthly passes are not accepted.
