The Ventura County Mental Wellness Festival returns to Ventura Harbor Village for a full day of uplifting activities, resources, and experiences designed to support mental well-being. Hosted by local nonprofit Turning Point Foundation, the festival aims to raise awareness and provide tools for maintaining and improving mental health for individuals and families alike.

Whether you’re looking for a calming activity, meaningful conversations, or just a fun and inspiring day by the water, this event welcomes everyone.

Highlights Include:

Live Music by Orchard Bluegrass Band
Tap your toes to bluegrass favorites from this seasoned local band that has performed at the Ventura County Fair, Reagan Library, and other community favorites.

Sound Bath Sessions on the Lawn
Take a moment to unwind with two outdoor Metatron Colour Healing Sound Bath sessions led by Tomoko from Two Moon Child. Sessions take place at 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Bring a yoga mat or blanket and relax on the grass.

Mental Health Art Exhibit
Browse artwork submitted by clients of Turning Point Foundation’s wellness programs, including the Oxnard Wellness Center, Growing Works, Oxnard Clubhouse, and New Visions Center. Art will be on display and available for purchase in the center lawn.

Growing Works Garden Exhibit
Explore and shop a variety of plants cultivated by participants in Growing Works, a therapeutic plant nursery that offers job training and recovery support for those with mental health challenges.

Arts and Crafts Activity with Camp Good Times
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California will offer a creative art station and information about Camp Good Times, a no-cost camp experience for children with cancer and their families.

Seashell Painting with Ventura County Behavioral Health
Enjoy a creative seashell painting activity and connect with representatives from VCBH, who provide vital mental health and substance use services across the county. Learn about their 24/7 Crisis & Referral Line at 1-866-998-2243.
