Seaside Kids Club

Every Thursday in Ventura Harbor Village | July 11 to August 8th, 2019 from 11am – noon!

Kid’s ages 3-10 years old are encouraged to immerse themselves in new sea-themed activities, entertainment and crafts.
Cost is only $5 cash/child for one session OR $15 cash/child for all Thursday sessions when you sign up to be a Member.
Sign-in begins at 10:30am at the Kelp Corridor outside the Village Carousel & Arcade.

All participants receive a Seaside Kids Club sticker and experience a different theme each week:

July 11 - Baby Shark

(Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo)
Swim on by for the kick-off of Seaside Kids Club 2019 in Ventura Harbor! An ocean expert will share facts about sharks native to the California coast, get creative with a hands-on shark craft, and try the inflatable shark bean bag toss! Stick around for Shark “Shell-fies” and a seaside kids group rendition of the Baby Shark song!

July 18 – Cool Kelp

Channel Islands National Park rangers teach us about the importance of kelp and the animals that call kelp forests home. Ranger Drew will lead little ones on a guided experience to become a scientist for a day and collect data about the fish that live in the kelp forest. Plus make a cool sea kelp art project to take home!

July 25 – Salty Crew

(Pirates, Mermaids & more)
Ahoy me hearties! Mermaid Christen and her Pirate pal return to Ventura Harbor for photo ops and an exclusive visit and with Seaside Kids! Mermaid and Pirate costumes are always welcomed. Get artsy with a salty crew craft with Lakeshore Learning Center!

August 1 – Seaside Fun in the Sun

Mr. King will be on-site creating huge bubbles and explaining the fun science behind it! You’ll be mesmerized by the different sizes and shapes that these magical bubbles can form. Macaroni Kid will be here for colorful macaroni crafting fun! Plus, the kids can wind down with sea-themed yoga poses with instructor, Mrs. Pam.

August 8 – California Vibes

The California Joe Magical Adventure Show makes its way to Ventura Harbor Village! It takes your children on a journey around the globe and throughout history! The kids become Junior Magical Explorers who assist California Joe and the show features “magical artifacts” from all over the world. Kids can also paint ocean-themed clay shapes!
