HOWL-O-WEEN 2022
Attention all doggie owners!
Come check out the HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Costume Contest at Ventura Harbor Village on Saturday, October 29th at 11am! Space is limited to the first 70 dogs. Pre-registration is now closed however we will accept a limited number of walk ups day-of on a first come first serve basis until we reach capacity. Every single registered dog that participates gets a small goodie bag of pup prizes, plus 5 lucky dogs will take home grand prizes if they win their category! There will be a professional photographer onsite!
IMPORTANT DATES:
October 29th – It’s show time! Head to Ventura Harbor Village for the contest in person. Registered participants check in near Sugar Lab at 11am to receive your competition number. A limited amount of “Day-Of” sign ups will be taken on a first come first serve basis too!
PARTICIPATION PRIZES:
Just for signing up & bringing your costumed dog seaside, you’ll get goodies. Every single registered pup participant gets:
– A treat bag from Ventura Pet Barn
– A pup-cream (special dessert made for dogs) courtesy of Coastal Cone
– Doggie Owners get some scooby snacks (for humans)

When the contest is over, show off your pup in costume throughout the Village, enjoy pet-friendly patios, indulge in sweet treats, and walk the beautiful waterfront Promenade.

However, don’t fret! A handful of spots will be available on the day-of the contest, on a first come first serve basis starting at 11am. Look for the “Day-Of Sign Up” table near Sugar Lab Bake Shop. If we have reached capacity and are unable to accommodate your entry, you and your pup are still more than welcome to dress up, watch the show, and have some fun! Costumes are encouraged for both spectators and participants.
