Spooky Season has arrived and Ventura Harbor Village has you covered for all things Halloween. See below for ways to have a safe and SPOOKtacular time either by connecting virtually or visiting us in person at the Ventura Harbor.

Note – Ventura Harbor Village is open Halloween weekend. Come show off your Halloween ensemble seaside (complete with a mask of course)! The Harbor will not be hosting our annual Trick or Treat, however there will be pop up photo experiences and spooky scenes to explore any time from 10am to 5pm at your leisure. We ask that you keep a safe distance from others and follow seaside safely guidelines.

Halloween Seaside Skeletons
On Halloween Day, several skeletons will have escaped the harbor hearse and are on the loose in the Village! Join us on Saturday, October 31 anytime from 10am to 5pm (in your spooky costume + mask) and find the skeletons for a chance to win a spooky prize pack from Ventura Harbor businesses. Harbor Sweet Treats
Halloween isn’t complete without indulging in sweets, so be sure to try the SEAsonal selection of treats at Ventura Harbor! Top This Chocolate has launched a Halloween Customizable Experience, complete with witches, goblin eye balls, magic spell sprinkles, and sweet tooth necessities. Coastal Cone has also gone all out with Underwood Family Farms pumpkin infused soft serve, as well as ghost, bat, and witch sundae creations! We recommend flying by Coastal Cone after dark for the full festive decor experience while you wait in line.

Accessorize your costume and dress to impress with the help of Ventura Harbor Village shops! Lost in SocksHats Unlimited and Mermaid Gallery all have festive Halloween ware. Ventura Swimwear even sells Halloween print masks! Be sure stop by the Villages two newest shops, Hair Extensions by Shirley and Frenchies Modern Nail Care, to get colorful hair extensions and Halloween themed nails as well! Or if you your prefer to stay safe at home, several harbor stores have online shops and will ship to your doorstep.

VIRTUAL HOWL-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest
Ventura Harbor just wrapped up the annual HOWL-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest, this year was virtual! CLICK HERE to take a look at 50 adorable costumed pups who submitted photos. You can like your favorites on facebook as well. If you have a furry friend, be sure to join in the fun next year!

Witches Paddle
The second annual Ride of the Ventura Harbor Witches is took place again this year! A group of Harbor enthusiasts brewed up their 2nd Annual Ride of the Ventura Harbor Witches! They took flight this past Friday, October 30 at approximately 3:30 pm. The sea-bound witches send out a big thank you to Ventura Boat Rentals for the rental “brooms”! We hope you can join in the fun next year. Anyone with a witch hat, a pair of striped socks, a cape and a paddle board or kayak are encouraged to join! Covid rules apply as we will maintain distance while boarding up and wear masks until on the water.
