Hokuloa Canoe Club will host its annual Ventura Outrigger Challenge Race in Ventura, California on Saturday, June 8. The 6-man outrigger canoe race, overseen by the Southern California Outrigger Racing Association, draws some 1,000 participants from around the state.  Paddlers will paddle a 10 mile course just outside the Ventura Harbor toward the stunning Channel Islands.

There will be vendors, food, and a Beer Garden.  Come and see our beautiful Harbor Cove Beach, in the backdrop of the Channel Islands National Park, transform from a quiet little beach to a buzz of energy with paddlers and canoes.
