Join us for activities for all ages aboard Tall Ships Mystic Whaler from Central Coast Ocean Adventures Foundation (CCOAF)! The 110-ft schooner will be at the Ventura Harbor C-Dock near Ventura Boat Rentals from May 23 through May 30. The Mystic Whaler will be arriving on May 23rd at approximately 11am to C-Dock at Ventura Harbor Village. The best places to photograph its arrival are the end of Spinnaker Drive, on Harbor Cove Beach, and along the Promenade in the Village upon arrival.
Deck Tours will be offered on Memorial Day Weekend Saturday, May 25, Sunday, May 26, and Monday, May, 27 from 1pm-5pm for a suggested $5 donation.
The Mystic Whaler, is the perfect medium for exploring adventure-inspired learning through sailing and the sea. CCOAF’s hands-on, activity-based programs develop and strengthen STEM academic comprehension, social/emotional maturity, environmental stewardship, nautical skills, and historical lessons. CCOAF is committed to making engaging experiential education and the Santa Barbara Channel more accessible to the communities of Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
CCOAF’s Mission is to utilize adventure through sailing and the sea to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) comprehension, environmental stewardship, teamwork, self-confidence, and nautical skills for the communities of Santa Barbara and Ventura counties with a special focus on youth.
