Who is Caliente Band 805?
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with local Caliente 805 Band! The group was originally started by Eddie “Bigoton” Sanchez when he was at Channel Islands High School, and members have been entertaining local crowds for over 50 years. They play classic brown-soul, oldies, funk, and lively cumbias con salsa, frequently perform at local spots and community events around Ventura and Oxnard, including Ventura County Fair, Tony’s Pizzaria in Ventura and Bombay Bar & Grill.
