Ventura Harbor Village’s Outdoor Movies are back! Join us for The Goonies on Saturday, July 29th! Grab your blankets + low chairs and have some summer fun. Our outdoor movies are FREE. Show starts just after sundown (in late July that means around 8:00 pm) on the Ventura Harbor Village Main Lawn (nearest 1591 Spinnaker Dr. Ventura, CA). Arrive early for pre-show entertainment (more details below)!

“The Goonies” is a 1985 adventure film directed by Richard Donner. It follows a group of kids who embark on a treasure hunt to save their homes from being demolished, encountering booby traps, secret caves, and a family of criminals along the way. “The Goonies” is generally considered appropriate for kids, as it is rated PG and intended for a family audience. However, parents should be aware that the film contains some mild language and comedic violence. It is recommended to review the content and make a judgment based on the individual child’s age and sensitivity.

Be sure to arrive early to get a good spot and enjoy pre-show music by DJ Morgan Alex and photos with tropical birds!

There will be fresh popped kettle corn and refreshments available on the lawn. You can also grab dinner & dessert at a Ventura Harbor Village eatery before the movie (or take it to go and picnic). A variety of activities happening before and after the movie! Cruise the Village by day. Make it to the lawn by sundown. After the show, check out the new After Dark Reverse Happy Hour and dance club vibe at The Greek Mediterranean Steak & Seafood!
