In these times of uncertainty and apprehension, we are here for you. The Ventura Harbor’s primary concern is for the health, safety, and welfare of our community. We will continue to stay connected digitally and share ways to still support local business from the comforts of your home.

Latest Ventura Harbor Information: (Updated 4/7/20)

BEACHES – Ventura Harbor beaches and beach parking lots are closed, in support of the “Stay Well at Home” order, issued by the Ventura County Public Health Officer, and the notice by the City of Ventura on April 1, that all parks and beaches in the City of Ventura will be closed until further notice.

BOATING – The Ventura Port District, with the intent to reduce the spread of COVID-19, has temporarily closed the public launch ramp facility and restrooms as of Saturday, April 4th @ 9 pm. After this time, the lot will only be available to commercial vessels and one-way trips by permit from the Harbor Patrol.   To obtain a temporary no-cost permit, please contact the Ventura Harbor Patrol @ 805-642-8618. Any persons returning from a trip that departed from the Harbor before the closure will be allowed to haul out and leave the area.

SUPPORT LOCAL – Purchasing a gift card, shopping online, and booking travel in advance are other ways in which the local community can support small business for shopping, dining, entertainment, and overnight stays in the Ventura Harbor in the future. Click here to learn how you can lend your support to small harbor businesses.

STAY CONNECTED – We invite you to stay connected to the sea, Ventura Harbor businesses, and the Channel Islands National Park from the comfort of your home. We miss having our customers and guests seaside and want to continue to share ways to stay in touch. Click here for ways to connect.

VENTURA HARBOR ADMINISTRATION – Ventura Port District closed administrative offices to the public Thursday, March 19, as a precautionary measure to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Staff is still available by phone/email. Click here to read the admin update from General Manager, Brian Pendleton.

Ventura Harbor appreciates your continued support of locally-owned and operated harbor businesses as we all support each other through these challenging times. We hope you and your family stay well.

The safety and health of patrons and our employees remain a top priority. Outdoor surfaces/restrooms continue to be regularly sanitized with increased frequency. We encourage all visitors and harbor residents to follow healthy practices and social distancing, in accordance with CDC guidelines (see below) and continue practice of safe hygiene. If you are sick, please save your visit to the Ventura Harbor until you are well.

We are closely monitoring the guidance of the County of Ventura Emergency Information and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding the spread of the virus.
