10 tips blog

At Ventura Harbor Village our visitors health, safety, and well being remains our top priority. As an outdoor/open air attraction, we are grateful to be able to offer our community a public space to spend time and enjoy seaside amenities from a safe distance. Please be sure to wear a mask and see below for ideas on how to Seaside Safely during your next visit to Ventura Harbor:

seaside dining

There’s nothing better than the smell of salty sea-air followed by a bite of fresh fish and chips while overlooking the boats in the marina. Dining at harbor restaurants is inclusive of outdoor patio dining, limited indoor dining, and take out. There are many places to enjoy your harbor favorites: safe at home, on an electric boat rental, one of three beautiful Ventura Harbor beaches, or picnic style at the Seaside Takeout Zone (a big grass lawn along the waterfront) in Ventura Harbor Village.

If there’s one upside to all of this, it’s getting to shop without crowds! The prime times to shop with minimal crowds is usually weekdays before 3pm. Please always wear a face covering, and if you’re not comfortable with in-store shopping, many retailers have online shops that will ship right to you as well!

The sea is a healing place and it will likely bring you a sense of calm. Make time to revel in the waves, take a deep breath of ocean air, soak up plenty of Vitamin D and Vitamin Sea, all while kindly keeping space between your group and fellow beach goers.
