Tune in to Ventura Harbor’s Facebook Page for a blissful backyard set by Cornerstone Reggae on Saturday September 5th at 1pm! California-based, Cornerstone, has been pumping out high-energy reggae since 2005. Their style has evolved into an emerging urban reggae sound like no other. Comprised of Santa Barbara’s local reggae veterans, this all- star line up fuses traditional reggae with a conscious Californian vibe to create a unique sound, while staying true to the fundamentals of roots reggae. Cornerstone has had the honor of sharing the stage with musical legends such as, Burning Spear, Gregory Isaacs, Don Carlos, Toots and the Maytals & more.

Don’t miss DJ Darla’s special California Love playlist curated just for Ventura Harbor. She’ll be streaming a sampling of the tunes on Ventura Harbor’s Facebook on Sunday, September 6th at 1pm. Southern California native, DJ Darla Bea is an on-air radio personality and popular local event DJ. The playlist will also be available following the stream.
Darla has been DJ’ing parties, weddings, fundraisers and corporate events for over 11 years. You can hear her voice on the airwaves each week during her Sunday night radio program on KCSB-FM 91.9 “Rock It Properly”. With each event Darla curates a special setlist of tunes to choose from – her ear for eclectic music and eye for detail make for a winning combination.
