Hispanic Heritage Month

mexican flagsPublished on September 9, 2022

September 15th to October 15th is Hispanic Heritage Month, which is a time to recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic American champions who have inspired others to achieve success. We’re honoring the special month in Ventura Harbor Village with authentic entertainment and cuisine! Here are a couple of ways you can celebrate with us:

hispanic food and margaritas

Stop by for a traditional meal. Ventura Harbor Village is home to two popular Mexican Restaurants: Margarita Villa (don’t skip the Mexican flag enchilada combo) and Baja Bay Surf N Taco (where the Ensenada style fish & shrimp taco recipes originate from the owners moms home-cooked meals and her experience working in a fish factory in Baja, California – torta is new on the menu too). We also have Copa Cubana, a  restaurant offering Cuban-American fusion cuisine – the empanadas and fried plantains are crowd favorites | CLICK HERE for all dining options >

mariachi performers

Mariachi Reyes had a special performance Sunday, September 18th from noon to 2pm. What better way to kick off the month (and Mexican independence weekend) than with a talented group of musicians who enrich the culture within our own community. If you’d like to see more entertainment like this, let us know at [email protected]CLICK HERE for performance info >
